The clamp-mouth headspace vial series features strictly controlled vial openings to improve sealing performance, and precision-molded necks enhance the processing capacity of autosamplers. Standard GC and HPLC sample vials are suitable for autosamplers and sample storage; flat-bottomed vials are ideal for applications where the vial moves downward during instrument operation; and flat-mouth vials provide a larger contact area with the gasket, ensuring a tighter seal. The seals are made of a PTFE-silicone composite material to ensure excellent performance; they are particularly suitable for gas chromatography and prevent the seal from falling into the sample vial during injection.

Headspace vials typically require gaskets or star-shaped seals to ensure a secure seal. Selection criteria generally include the following aspects:

Material Selection: The material of the gasket or star-shaped seal should match the material of the bottle mouth being sealed. Dimension Selection: The dimensions of the gasket or star-shaped gasket should match those of the bottle opening to ensure full coverage of the sealing area and prevent leaks.

Surface Treatment: The surface treatment of the gasket or star-shaped gasket is also important; it is typically required to be smooth and free of obvious defects to ensure sealing performance.
